Twenty-one years ago this week, a 21-year-old student named Alex Tew sold a million pixels for a dollar each to pay for university. It became internet history.
I'm UV Kush. I'm 26 — an aerospace engineer turned developer. I grew up in Chandigarh, India, and I've crossed America chasing a dream — Spokane, Los Angeles, Prescott, New York City, and now my aunt's basement in New Jersey. The dream is called UVY — United Voice of Youth, and it's already real.

Building the rest of that takes money I don't have. So I'm rerunning the internet's oldest fundraiser, a dollar a pixel — and the numbers are public. Every pixel bought on the grid funds UVY.
