The story in one paragraph
On August 26, 2005, a 21-year-old student named Alex Tew launched the Million Dollar Homepage and sold a million pixels for a dollar each. Twenty-one years later to the day, UV Kush — a 26-year-old aerospace engineer turned developer from Chandigarh, India, living in his aunt's basement in New Jersey — is rerunning the experiment as the 2026 Grid: same million pixels, same dollar, every number public from day one, to fund the social media super app he's building, UVY.
